SARS or Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome was first reported in Guandong, China then spread to Hongkong, Singapore, Canada, US, Taiwan and now the Philippines. The flu-like disease turned into a killer-pneumonia is now an epidemic that threatens not just Asia but the world, if a cure vaccine is not discovered very soon to prevent the disease from further spreading. SARS had killed AC (Adela Catalon), a Nursing Aide in Canada. She came home to help his ailing father who was sick with colon cancer. She got infected in Canada and died at San Lazaro Hospital in Manila. His father MC (Mauricio Catalon) whose death was earlier reported due to cancer also died of the disease infected by Adela as per autopsy finding on his body tissues and blood samples. That’s how threatening the SARS virus can spread.
SARS is deadlier than any US weapons of mass destruction like cluster bomb or British war arsenal used to destroy Iraq because the ‘corona virus’ that infects the human body that catches it is beyond radar range and high tech intelligence surveillance of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Scotland Yard. Even Bush and Blair can be infected by SARS if they come into close contact with a person having the disease. If Bush and Blair believes they are invulnerable, they should try making state visits to China, Hongkong and Singapore and shake hands with SARS patients in hospitals without protective mask and suit. Then they can call CNN and BBC to show to the world their ‘invulnerÂability’ as the two worlds’ powerful leaders. That would be the best propaganda than declaring they have won the war in Iraq even without producing Saddam dead or alive and finding his alleged WMD.
