Four pumping machines of Caltex Gas Stations at Pilar St., this city, were padlocked yesterday by the Task Force Gasolina after they were found violating City Ordinance No.92-005 or “short dispensing of petroleum products.”

Mayor Celso Lobregat yesterday issued Executive Order No. CL 226-2008 creating a   special body called “Task Force Melamine” that will be tasked to monitor all business establishments in the city relative to the ban imposed on contaminated milk products and other commodities coming from China

District 2 Congressman Erbie A. Fabian yesterday pushed for the creation of additional positions of health personnel at the Zamboanga City Medical Center when he attended a hearing of the House Committee on Appropriations presided by Congressman Edcel Lagman.

JOLO, Sulu  – The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the Local  Water Utilities administration (LWUA) has agreed to  finance a P 54 million  water improvement program of the Jolo Mainland Water District (JMWD) in this capital town of Sulu.
