ISABELA CITY — To further strengthen the preventive security measures in this city, the city government through the financial assistance given by the Joint Special Operation Task Force-Philippines (JSOTFP), yesterday started the construction of an Area Coordination Center (ACC) at Barangay Sunrise, Isabela.

The National Computer Center (NCC), in cooperation with the Civil Service Commission (CSC), will be conducting the annual IT Specialist Proficiency Exam on November 21, 2009, in the three key cities of Quezon, Cebu and Zamboanga. The exam is pursuant to PD 1408, which directs the CSC and the NCC to determine the proficiency of IT professionals and graduates in occupying technical IT positions in the government. This exam is also a basis for obtaining an equivalent CSC 1st grade eligibility.
