November 30 is the
official Bonifacio day marks in our Calendar as we traditionally
celebrated it. Today we are commemorating the day Andress Bonifacio
heroism in our Country. However, this commemoration was celebrated
yesterday November 29, 2010 due to Republic Act No. 9492 - An act
rationalizing the celebration of National Holidays amending for the
purpose section 26, chapter 7, book 1 of executive orderno. 292, as
amended, otherwise known as the administrative code of 1987. Now
Republic Act 9492 Bonifacio Day - Monday nearest November 30.To give
preview of Andres Bonifacio's life, Andrés Bonifacio y de Castro
(November 30, 1863 – May 10, 1897) was a Filipino nationalist and
revolutionary. He was a founder and later the supreme leader of the
Katipunan movement which sought the independence of the Philippines from
Spanish colonial rule and started the Philippine Revolution.[1][2] He
is considered a de facto national hero of the Philippines.[3] Bonifacio
is also considered by some Filipino historians to be the first president
of the Philippines, but he is not officially recognized as such.

November 30, 2010 - Today, a mass oath-taking for barangay officials in ninety-eight (98) barangay held at Coliseum, Tetuan, this city at 9:00 o'clock in the morning. Honorable Abdurahman Nuño, city councilor and at the same time chairs the Liga Committee do the welcome remarks.
In his short message, he emphasized for the incoming officials to uphold good attitude and ability as well as strengthening the community for the progress of the ninety-eight barangays.
