The Eleven islands in Sacol island can be developed into a tourist destination because of its natural white sand and emerald water and the channel of Sacol Island going to Sangali can be an anchorage for foreign and local vessels, said District 1 congressional aspirant Atty. James Enriquez of Puede Si Quirre Inc.

Enriquez said that once he will be given the mandate by the people in the May 10 election in Zamboanga City, he will look for means to develo the area.

Enriquez explained that once the area is developed, it will generate livelihood for the socio-economic upliftment of the people and income generating for the government not only billion of pesos, but billions of dollars because there will be continuous business activities. Once the area is developed with a structure provided for the law enforcers in the area for security measures, the economic activities of the city will boost internationally.

Enriquez cited an example in tourists aspect ? heavy influx of foreign and local tourists will come in the city because if developed, it will motivate young musicians to enhance their talents in music for entertainment .
