Top Zamboanga City amateur boxer Conrado Ta?amor entertained the public with a farewell fight during the Congressman Erbie A. Fabian and Senator Manny Villar?s Golpe-Golpe na Barangay held in Manicahan last Saturday.

Ta?amor defeated his opponent Jayson Borleo of the UZ boxing club in the Bantamweight Division (main event).

Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippine (ABAP) local President Arsenio ?Rawhide? Nuevo said that it was the last fight of Ta?amor as amateur boxer because he will undergo training under the Jimenez Stable to fight to enter professional boxing.

Like Anthony Marcial, Ta?amor started his boxing career in the Golpe-Golpe na Barangay of Congressman Fabian and Nuevo where he showed his potential to become a good professional boxer.

Ta?amor?s trainer in Zamboanga City was international amateur boxing referee Popi Cartin of the UZ Boxing Club.

Ta?amor was a bronze medalist in the World Junior Amateur Boxing held in Khazakstan last 2009.

Last Saturday?s boxing saw Richard Acabal of Talon-Talon winning against Jessie Abequebel of Mampang in the 21 kilograms division.

In the 22 kilograms division, Jeremie Ta?amor of Tugbungan defeated James Reyes of Lunzuran.

Angelito Canoy of Tugbungan won against Rolando Acabal of Talon-Talon in the 25 kilograms division.

In the Light Cotton Division, Angelito Arcillas of Culianan won against Marco Fernando of the UZ boxing club.

Reneboy Perraren of the UZ boxing club defeated Jayboy Mendoza of Sta. Maria in the Kiddieweight Division.

Marklyn De Guzman of Sta. Maria won against Jerry Delgado of Talon-Talon in the Paper weight Division.

In the Light flyweight Division, Cesar Alejandro of Blue Stallion Promotion won against Jed Pasilan of Tugbungan.

Roy Asuncion of Talon-Talon won against Roger Aurea of Mampang 48 Kilograms Division.

Jaylie Ara?ez of Cabaluay defeated Albert Chavez of Tugbungan in the Flyweight Division.

Mathew Arcillas of UZ Boxing Club won against Vincent Autida of Alavar Stable in the Bantamweight Division.

Kenneth Rebarbas of UZ Boxing Club won against Eumir Marcial of Lunzuran in the Bantamweight Division.
