In support to the move to uplift the education system in Zamboanga City, Public Works and Highways District Engineer Office Merham Acas announced yesterday that District 2 Congressman Erbie A. Fabian has used his congressional funds to initiate the construction of school buildings in the city during his first and second term in the House of Representatives.
Engr. Acas disclosed that the construction of the school buildings are “substantial” to help bring quality learning environment in the city’s public schools.
Acas said other projects of Rep. Fabian geared towards education included multi-purpose covered courts, school fences and toilets, waiting sheds and concrete barangay roads going to schools.
Fabian had also turned over computer laboratories to some schools in District 2.
Acas said that the projects of Fabian are essential to the Department of Education’sschool development program “because they are part of the basic needs and accessories of the schools for the good of the students.”
