“REPEAL CRIMINAL LIBEL LAW, NOW”: A group led by lawyer-journalist Bertini Cataluna Causing, simply Toto to close friends, is inviting interested parties to sign a petition in the Internet for the repeal of the Revised Penal Code provisions on libel, to decriminalize libel and make it a purely civil case.

The on-line petition, called as “Repeal Criminal Libel Law, Now”, is addressed to Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, Sen. Gregorio Honasan, who is the chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Information and Mass Media and all committee members; Sen.
