“Un Noche de Ave Maria”, a concert featuring original musical arrangements of Dr. Jose Genaro Yap-Aizon will be staged Friday, September 11, at the Sacred Heart Chapel at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University at 6 p.m.

Sponsored by the Office of District I Congresswoman Beng Climaco in coordination with the Ateneo de Zamboanga, the concert is in honor of the birthday of Mama Mary, Wednesday, Sept. 8.

The concert will also feature the Zamboanga Hermosa Chorale and the Coro Concepcion Immaculada together with the Positive Energy Ballet Dancers.

Cong. Climaco said sponsoring the concert is one way of supporting Zamboangueno talents like that of Dr. Yap-Aizon.

Admission to the concert is free but tickets will be given out ahead of schedule to facilitate a hassle-free entrance.

Cong. Climaco celebrated her birthday Sept. 7, a day before Mama Mary’s birthday.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Sept. 11, the lady solon will treat children inmates at the Zamboanga City Reformatory Center, as a belated celebration of her birthday.

Spending time and sharing blessings to children inmates have become Climaco’s tradition during her birthday even before she became a city councilor in 1998.

The program is part of her advocacy on juvenile delinquency, Cong.
