Two hulbot-hulbot and four motorized boats was apprehended by operatives of the 9th Maritime Mobile Group off Sangali, Zamboanga City recently.

Operatives led by Insp.Jolly Sabtal of the 9th Maritime Mobile Group reported to PNP Maritime Group Regional Chief Sr. Supt. Eduardo Serapio M. Garado that the two hulbot-hulbot and four motorized boats were apprehended for violation of City Ordinance 2002-89 as amended by City Ordinance number 2005-133 regarding unregistered pumpboats and motorboats and incomplete documents while on fishing operations.

The description and identity of the motorboats are MB Jhoy with engine number BR-168FB unregistered with address in Barangay Bolong, MB Ariel with engine number BR-1603078 unregistered with address in Bolong, MB Ging and Ting with engine number TMT090228-0210 unregistered with address in Bolong, MB Jamaica with engine number HP0905208 unregistered with address in Bolong, MB Flortits with engine number YanmarSS90C002041 unregistered with address in Barangay Sangali and MB Kim Kris with defaced engine number, unlicensed fisherfolk with address in Sangali.

The two hulbot-hulbot motorboats and four motorized pumpboats were turned over to the Office of the City Agriculturist for proper disposition.

The success of the operation was also transmitted to Maritime Group National Office in Camp Crame.
