Lovely 16-year old Jennifer R. Tibayan, a fourth year lass of Zion Evangelical School was adjudged recently as the Festival Queen during the opening of the Science and Math Month celebration held at the Divisoria High School, this city. The beauty and brainy tilt was participated in by 16 high school students representing from public and private schools in Region 9.
Lorena V. Dayapdapan, subject Teacher and OIC Principal of Zion High School Department submitted to the School President the other day the winners in the different science and math contests held recently wherein Tibayan was chosen as festival queen.
Jennifer has been with Zion School since Grade 1 and is among the top three in her class eversince. She is expected to graduate with top honors this school year sometime by end of March, 2011. She is also active in various school campus activities and is President of the Supreme Student Government Council and also President of the Zion Youth Peace Corps which was organized few months ago by School President Paulino R. Ersando. The organization is dubbed as the Zion School Arm for Peace and Development in coordination and collaboration with the peace advocacy of Interreligious Solidarity Movement for Peace (IRSMP) in our City.
Jennifer Tibayan is the daughter of spouses Alfredo and Jessica Tibayan of Pasonanca, this City.
