Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested five alleged notorious drug pushers during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Marketsite, Isabela City the other day.

Arrested were Hadji Rowena Abirin y Abdurahman, 48, of Marketsite, Sulfiah Abdurahman y Utal, 24, a native of Jolo, Sulu, Abduraya Abdurahman y Abduhari, 19, of Jolo, Sulu, Abdel Nakar Abubakar Y Abirin, 31, of Marketsite and Nedzfar Mukmmali Y Tahura, 19, of Barangay Tabuk, Isabela City.

A sixth suspect identified as a certain Ramz managed to escape during the operation.

Recovered and seized during the operation were four small size transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with marking “MCL” and several drug paraphernalia.
