Pagadian City (11 October) -- Passing the grade or not should not be an issue at all with P-Noy's report on his first 100 days in office as President of this country, The Pagadian Times' editor-publisher Pede G. Lu said.
What he has done so far is a public knowledge, he said. His performance, despite the pervasive problems he inherited from the previous administration, is undisputable. He has, indeed, done what is expected of him and that should make us happy, Lu commented.
Only those who refuse to see anything good, but only the negative would bother about giving passing mark or otherwise. I am not one of them, Lu stressed.
For this reason, I would say President Aquino has not failed our expectations even this early, he said.
With his sincerity and humility in office demonstrated by his own words and actions, the Filipino people can expect that the best is yet to come for this country under the Aquino administration, Lu added.
Meanwhile, Pagadian City Councilor Atty. Baldomero Fernandez admired President Benigno Aquino III in his 100-day accomplishment report of his administration to the people.
He said, the President's report highlighted the improvements on the country's growth and the creation of more jobs as part of his priority programs and serious commitment in serving the people.
Fernandez said, he haven't seen anything wrong in his more than three months of service as the country's chief executive.
"I just hope that he will continue his campaign in eradicating graft and corruption to restore the good image of our country," Fernandez said.
