BIR Revenue Region No.15, Zamboanga City collected P234,401,856.22 for
the month of October 2010-- an excess of P17,420,856.22 or 8.03% over
its goal of P216,981,000.00 and increased its actual collection by
P34,137,852.68 or 17.05% over last year for the same month.
The cumulative collection from January to October 2010 was
P2,390,790,141.56, exceeding its target of P2,257,031.00 by
P133,759,141.56 or 5.93%. It also increased by P361,585,349.81 or
17.82% compared to last year’s cumulative collection.
The Top Performers for the month of October, 2010 were RDO No. 96,
Tawi-Tawi Province headed by RDO Jefferson M. Lajaranimarking an excess
of 42.92% over its goal of P2.288 million and 2.64% increase over its
2009 collection, followed by RDO No. 94, Basilan Province headed by
Rodolfo C. Maadil with P8.325 million collection against goal of P6.484
million and RDO No. 93B, Zmbga Sibugay headed by RDO Monib M. Dimakuta
for a collection of P19.760 million against P16.781 million goal.
Regional Director Rozil R. Lozares thanked everyone during the Regional
Staff Conference on November 12, 2010 for their joint efforts in
achieving the collection target of this Region for October 2010 both
monthly and cumulatively, even as he recognized with enthusiasm the
achievements of the RDOs, he sternly reminded them to finish the
collection race with flying colors at the end of this year.
