So far, he is considered the most serious candidate to formally declare a run, but he’s still struggling in the polls. When asked who they favor for the nomination, only 10 percent of Republicans chose Gingrich, according to a recent poll, which ties him for fifth place with Ron Paul.
Sean Hannity, a political commentator, even reminded Gingrich that Obama would be very difficult to beat which the Former House Speaker admits. Having all of the advantages of the mainstream media, is just one of the possible main edges Gingrich think Obama have over him.

Gingrich strongly believes that “right policies will lead to the right outcome”, a principle that he thinks that the present president is not applying.
