Christie Brinkley close herself to any marriage opportunities

Marrying four times, the 57-year-old American Model, Christie Brinkley, has decided not to marry again.



Brinkley is best known for her three consecutive appearances on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the late 1970s and early 1980s, for her long-running contract with CoverGirl, the longest ever of any model in history.

The last marriage that she had was with Peter Halsey Cook , an architect. 

Brinkley, who has three children from her four marriages, has insisted her acrimonious divorce from fourth spouse Peter Cook in 2008.

"I learnt in my divorce that marriage is ridiculous. You take a vow but you don't get brownie points when you honor your vow and the other person doesn't.

"The court doesn't recognize that. It's like, 'All right now, let's see how we're going to divvy up the kids.' Well, obviously, the one that didn't break the vows should be the role model, but no.'"

Despite her stance on marriage, Christie hasn't ruled out falling in love again.
