ZAMBOANGA CITY All is set for the conduct of the Run for Hope on Sunday in six key cities in Mindanao.
Dubbed as PhilHealth Run: The Mindanao Run for Hope, it will be simultaneously held in the cities of Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Koronadal, Marawi and Zamboanga.
The event aims to raise funds and its main beneficiary is the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) Children's Cancer Center and Blood Diseases Unit (Kids of Hope) based in Davao City.

Senator Pia Cayetano, in support to the PhilHealth Run, is donating P1 million to SPMC.
The Run for Hope is also part of this year's PhilHealth 17th anniversary celebration themed: "Sa PhilHealth, Pinalawak na Benepisyo...Garantisado!"
Faustino said they are targeting to gather a total of 17,000 runners to participate in the Run for Hope in the six Mindanao cities. (PNA)
