MANILA — Philippine shares on Thursday closed the morning trade lower by 48.10 points or 1.00 percent at 4,757.70 while all shares dipped by 29.20 points or 0.89 percent at 3,225.86.

All subindices are in the negative led by Mining and Oil, down by 1,000.29 points or 3.92.

Property, Holding Firms and Financials trail behind, down by 19.28 points or 1.11 percent, 42.24 points or 1.08 percent and 11.66 points or 1.03 percent, respectively.

Volume traded reached 11.07 billion valued at 3.89 billion.

Yesterday, the Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) rose as it breaches the 4,800 level, up by 1.05 percent or 49.82 points to close at 4,805.80 while broader all-share went up by 1.46 percent or 46.82 points to close higher at 3,255.06. (PNA)
