MANILA An AG-CAT single-engine biplane agricultural aircraft crash landed Friday morning at the Davao International Airport runway five seconds after it took off.
According to Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), the aircraft with registry number RP-R1425 crash landed at 8:29 a.m. on Friday.
In a report by the Operation Rescue and Coordinating Center (ORCC) of the CAAP to Director General William Hotchkiss III, the said aircraft is owned and operated by Mindanao Rainbow Agricultural Devt. Services Inc.
The planes pilot Captain Jose Bugarin sustained no injury.
The Davao International Airport landing and takeoff were suspended effective 8:30 a.m. until the disabled aircraft was cleared off the runway and was back to normal operations at 9:26 am. (PNA)
