Zamboanga City (May 15, 2012) The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines – Zamboanga International Airport, Philippine Airlines (PAL), Cebu Pacific  & AirPhil Express (CAAP) in collaboration with Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) IX Adhoc Committee and the Local Government of Zamboanga City launched the “Zamboanga International Airport Interior Design Contest” and after the launching, a press conference follows.

The Training on Microinsurance Advocacy (TOMA) was held at the Garden Orchid Hotel, Zamboanga City from May 8-10, attended by representatives of both the public and the private sector about the framework and status of microinsurance in the Philippines, emphasizing the respective roles each one can take in the advocacy of microinsurance.

The Philippine Army recruitment for officers and candidate soldiers is on. The Army Recruitment Office for Mindanao (AROM) will administer the Philippine Aptitude Test Battery (PAATB) examinations for those applicants applying for the following: Candidate Soldier Course (CSC), Officer Preparatory Course (OPC), and Officer Candidate Course (OCC) into the regular force from May 1-9, 2012.

1. The Malaysian registered fishing vessel with body no. SBF 48 was apprehended on 22 April 2012 at around 9:05 am at 23 NM West off West of Pangutaran Island, Sulu or at Latitude 06 Degrees 14.19 Minutes North and Longitude 120 Degrees 05.62 minutes East, an area within the internal waters of the Philippine. As per its registration documents, the Malaysian fishing vessel is owned by Tuaran Marine Park SDN BHD with address at Lot 5, Aras Bawah, Tuaran New Township, Jalan Chong Thien Yun, Tuaran, Sabah, Malaysia.
