Catholics, IMO, are major materialistic people. Look at the Pope and his outer garments. Jesus never wore expensive showy clothes, and he was God's Son. So,the Pope and other preachers in fancy garments are not appealing to me at all. I think of Jesus as leader rather than those hypocrites who live lavishly and talk the talk, but don't walk the walk! |

I don't think Materialism is a problem just for the Catholic world - it is a global problem. Also, I can't help wondering if more than anything, materialism is the biggest problem Catholicism will face ? _________________ KPO India |
